Heartlove passed away
Meine Tante Hilde und ich waren sehr vertraut miteinander. Als Kind nannte ich sie “Herzlieb”. Im Juni 2010 starb sie im Alter von 90 Jahren. Bis zuletzt lebte sie in ihrem Haus, welches sie 50 Jahre lang bewohnte. Bevor es an die Auflösung des Nachlasses ging, fotografierte ich das ganze Haus, für mich als Fotografen eine angemessene Form des Abschied nehmens…
Parallel zu der Arbeit an dieser Fotoserie produziere ich einen Dokumentarfilm gleichen Titels über den Prozess der Nachlassauflösung.

My auntie Hilde and me, we were very close together. When I was a child I gave her the nickname “Heartlove”. In June 2010 she died at the age of 90 years.
50 years she lived in her own house, til the last days of her life. Before I liquidated the household, I took pictures from all over the house, for me as photographer a adequate way to bid farewell…
Also i´m producing a documentary film about that process with the same title “Heartlove passed away”.
